1.
I've heard of Your fame, Lord,
I know of Your deeds,
And I stand
in awe of the things
You have done.
Renew them
again, Lord, Oh, show
us Your glory,
In wrath
give us mercy as Your judgment
comes.
Chorus:
Yet will I praise You, Lord
God my Savior,
For You are
my strength, my hope
and my joy;
I climb up
the mountain, and I stand
on the heights,
I joy in
Your favor, and in You
I delight.
2.
No fruit on the fig trees, no
grapes on the vine,
Harvest has
failed us in these troubled
times.
No sheep in
the sheep pens, no cows
in the stalls,
Our burden
is heavy in the grief
of it all.
Chorus:
Still I will praise You,
Lord God my Savior,
For You are
my strength, my hope
and my joy;
I climb up
the mountain, and I stand
on the heights,
I joy in
Your favor, and in You
I delight.
3.
When life is a struggle, and things
all go wrong,
When
friends here forsake me, and
silence my song;
When trials
and troubles are all
that I see,
Lord, I
will remember You are faithful
to me.
Chorus:
And I will praise You, Lord
God my Savior,
For You are
my strength, my hope
and my joy;
I climb up
the mountain, and I stand
on the heights,
I joy in
Your favor, and in You
I delight.
