1. The Law of the Lord had
broken my soul,
I could not live up to His righteous
goal,
And so I was crushed, and in deep
despair;
But when in God's Word, I read of
His grace,
I ran to Him and His loving embrace,
Now He's remaking me, His stamp
I wear.
His artistry at work, His artistry
at work,
The Great Designer,
Now He's remaking me, His stamp
I wear.
2. The best I could be was
not good enough,
I had no peace, my edges were rough,
Hope was gone, Death lived inside;
But when in God's Word,I read of
His life,
I ran to Him and gave up my strife,
And now I live in Him, in Him reside.
His artistry at work, His artistry
at work,
The Great Designer,
Now He's remaking me,
His stamp I wear.
