1.
As Jesus walked those dusty roads
by the Sea of Galilee,
He called
some rugged fishermen,
saying, "Come and follow Me."
They left
their work and families
for the cross they were to bear,
Not knowing
all the things they'd
see or the glory they would share.
Chorus:
"We beheld His glory, the
glory of the Son;
"We beheld
His glory, He is the only
One.
"For sinners
crucified, Yet now He
is alive; IS ALIVE!
"We beheld
His glory, all glory to
His name!"
2.
They saw Him work His miracles
and they saw Him raise the dead;
They helped
Him feed those hungry
souls with the fishes and the bread.
They saw
Him walk across the waves,
saw Him calm the raging sea,
They heard
Him teach the Word of
God speaking with authority.
3.
In a solitary garden where He
often went to pray,
There came
a band of evil men and
they took the Lord away;
They saw
Him on the rugged cross,
they saw Him crucified,
They saw
Him come to life again,
and now they must testify.
